I have really gotten into blogging lately, and love that I am making all these new online friends. I am reading alot of blogs and adding new ones to my list quite often. I love it! Of course eventually I would probably run out of room for all the ones I read, but until then my list will just continue to grow. You can never have too many friends!
So, I have a question - Why do you think blogging is so much fun for so many people. Why are we so interested in other peoples lives? Are we nosy, bored, curious, etc.? For me it's a lot of all of those. Mostly curiosity. And I like to read stories that make me feel good about life and are refreshing and uplifting and are about real people. That and I am just plain nosy, lol!

I read blogs because I am nosy...and also because I am a stay-at-home-daycare-providing-mom that does not get out much among grown ups and I don't like to feel as if I am completely out of touch with the adult world. Also, I am pretty much a social nerd, and I freak out if I have to make small talk. Blogging is a way to be social without actually speaking to anybody! :o)
There. That is essentially the reason I blog. And I added you to my bloglines so that I can continue my antisocial tendencies by reading your blog every day! LOL

I guess I'm nosy. I love to read blogs. Some make me laugh, some make me say "hmmmm", some bring a smile, some motivate me, some inspire me, etc. My favorites are the warped ones who make me feel somewhat normal. =P
For me, blogging is simply a way to leave a legacy of love for my family. My kids and hubby are always wondering just what I'll blog about them next. People popping in are just icing on my cake. Chocolate icing. =D
We are female, so being nosy is part of life. It's also a great way to keep up with old friends, to make new ones, to grasp a little of the grown-up world on days you're stuck in a kids world, to gain support on homeschooling or mothering, to realize that you are not the only mother out there with problems and challenges, and because it's just fun.
I love to read blog because it usually gives me a different insight about myself. It is nice to read about something thought provoking. I like to keep my mind busy. I am totally nosey.
Ha! I liked this blog update! Why do I read? I love blogs because I can keep connected with friends who live far away. I love to be able to support them with prayer. I find reading blogs encouraging because you learn how other people cope. When I have a down day I learn from other people and their strength. I love reading blogs where the person has such a strong faith in God....you can see that your walk of faith with God is not too much different and can gain strength from others. I am a people person and LOVE making new friends as well. It is always interesting to find new friends and read with them about their walk in life! I am curious and thouroughly enjoy it!
